Best Time to Visit Manasbal Lake
May to September. The lotus is usually at its best in July and August.

Manasbal is a small, very clear lake in the Ganderbal district north of Srinagar. It is regarded as the deepest lake in the Kashmir valley and is far quieter than Dal Lake.
In summer its edges are covered in lotus, and its reed beds make it one of the best places in Kashmir for watching water birds.
A landscaped park runs along the shore, and shikaras are available for a slow circuit of the lake. On the northern bank are the terraces of Jaroka Bagh, a Mughal garden associated with Empress Nur Jahan.
Manasbal lies on the road towards Wular Lake and can be combined with it, or with the shrine at Kheer Bhawani.
